Allan D. Abney is founder of Allan Abney Ministries and Senior Pastor of The House of Hope, a non-denominational church located in Cypress, Texas.  He is a ‘vision keeper’ with a passion for empowering people through faith in the Word of God.  He encourages them to believe God for more and to improve the quality of their lives.  Allan is a dynamic speaker and teacher that shares the Word of God through a global perspective.  He reaches audiences of all ages, denominations, and cultural backgrounds.

Allan began his journey in ministry while in college at Sam Houston State University in 1986.  He immersed himself in the Word and became known for his charismatic diligence and love for God.  He was called to preach in 1987.  It was after receiving the Baptism of the Holy Ghost that he began a quest to find the God that spoke to his heart. 

Allan has pastored for more than 14 years, serving in both Bremond and Waller, Texas.  In 2004, God began to deal with his heart about ministering in the Cypress community.    Following a God-entrusted vision, he started The House of Hope in February 2005. 

Allan has been called to teach the Word of faith to the Body of Christ through practical application and simplicity.  Through revelation from God, he gives instruction on how to live a life of total faith.  He focuses on building people in their faith and showing them how to live life based on the unlimited power of the supernatural.

In addition to his call to ministry, Allan has gained extensive knowledge in leadership and development while working as a Senior Manager for Valmont Industries, a Fortune 500 company.  He and his wife Angela have worked in ministry together for twenty years.  They have three daughters, Melissa (18), Courtney (16) and Alexis (15). They reside in the Cypress community.

Born in College Station, Texas, Angela Abney is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Middle School Education and Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  She is currently working to complete her PhD in Urban Education.

Angela began her journey in ministry 20 years ago with her husband Allan.  She honored her husband’s call to the ministry and has since worked fervently by his side.  Not only is she devoted to her husband’s ministry, but Angela is an anointed woman of God.  She is a gifted and talented inspirational speaker and has a special interest in multicultural education

Angela Abney is the co-founder and Executive Pastor of The House of Hope in Cypress, Texas.   She is the founder of Dreamchasers Consulting, which provides educational services to prospective college students and women desiring to further their education.  She is a member of Delta Phi Honors sorority, West Houston Area English Teachers and a volunteer mentor.

Angela is known for her caring spirit and gentle wisdom.  She mentors young women from diverse backgrounds and cultures. 

Angela is married to Allan and they have three daughters; Melissa, Courtney, and Alexis.
